input_f1d, input_f2d with nothing in them
input_f1d_grid, input_f2d_grid with gridded examples
input_f1d_nogrid, input_f2d_nogrid with ungridded examples (get the idea, right?)
have the associated text files in the input file directories.
Remove everything else
