Which license is your game under?

awlzac commented 9 years ago

to be honest, i haven't really declared.  i suppose something like vanilla GPL.   at any rate, take it and tweak it as you see fit.  thanks for the interest. what do you have in mind?  fwiw, i haven't touched it in a while, as i forked off and ported an android version that got subsequent attention.  on the mystical todo list is to backport the last round of changes back to this :) -t

I am working on a list of free software and free culture resources for people making their own games here. I wanted to include your game as an example, but I need licensing information to be sure. Hence my interest.

i suppose something like vanilla GPL.

There are different versions of GPL (2.0 or 3.0). I would recommend the latest version GPL 3.0. And best would be to add it to the Github repositories (https://github.com/awlzac/wbt, https://github.com/awlzac/wbta), so it's totally clear.

Btw. I also make a list of open source games games under an open license and ask myself if I should include these games. It would be nice if a license file (copied from https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.txt for example) could be added, because that makes the license obvious.
