Observations #12

We are getting shit on in two categories

  1. An early rush do we build a defense commander? build a defense commander if the HQ's are too close?
  2. The other team maneuvering(often unintentionally) around our army and killing our base before we can kill theirs

I think that constant drone production out of a single helipad is the solution to this The drones we make early on can defend against rushes by either fighting head on or distracting the enemy by drawing the away/wasting their time

The drones don't have to straight up win the fight, they just need to make sure we make it to the mid-game without taking heavy losses This is because it's a reasonable bet that we win in the late game due to a better late game army

However even if our army can beat theirs in a head on head battle, we struggle with faster moving armies trashing our base before we can trash theirs I don't suggest having our launchers turn around, rather the drones go and piss off the other army by getting close the drones would then run away if they are outnumbered and fight if they are lickely to win

The drones could alternatively fill the niche of just avoiding the other team's main army and killing workers/towers away from the main battle

_side note_ the missiles still sometimes go in random ass directions and explode on us for no reason game 1 vs team O This seems to be them targeting things (towers and HQ) that are too far away (not sure though)

Working on missiles - I think I found the issue.

And yeah I'm not getting a launcher out quick enough we can improve by 120+ turns though. Just need to fix budgets
