Description

All the DX instructions refer to npx amplify xxx

I'm not sure how this is working for others as the amplify package is an package which wraps aws-amplify

I'm running npx @aws-amplify/backend-cli xxx instead

Should the docs be updated? Or is the amplify package going to be changes at some stage once Gen 2 is out of preview?

Hey @johnf, thank you for reaching out. Are you running the commands in a Gen 2 project/at the root of the project? the package is not installed globally which we observe in Gen 1.

OK, I understand now, I just read up on how npx works. I was in a monorepo with a peculiar setup so it wasn't finding the local version.
