It seems like the issue happens whenever I:
I tried adding just two tables and I get the same problem, am I missing something?
I'm seeing this same exact thing right now.
Same problem
Hi @jpgarbanzo @irl-dan @Davide-WO thank you for raising this issue, the team is investigating
Thanks @hloriana and AWS Team.
I will be happy to collaborate to address the issue.
@irl-dan and @Davide-WO are you both adding models via Amplify Studio as well?
I actually updated the model in the source code and did an amplify push
.
No DataStore turned on for modeling it in Amplify Studio for me. But same
error logs as above.

@hloriana no my procedure was identical to that of @irl-dan.
But I add that we are a team, one of the guys could have something wrong during a push. In the last 2 days I have personally done the "amplify push" and it has not given me more problems.
hi @hloriana any updates on this one? or a workaround?
Im facing the same issue as well

Describe the bug
I'm unable to deploy a backend as a part of an app build, even though I've made no changes to the code generated by the amplify-cli.
I'm getting this error:
So the build process won't continue and I'm not able to deploy the app's frontend as it fails in the backend step. However, deploying the backend alone works just fine.
I've found issues like #702 but in those scenarios there were local changes to the data model.
Expected behavior
Since deploying the backend from the Amplify Studio works fine, I'd expect the backend build to succeed from the "Hosting Environments" section and the app to be deployed successfully.
Reproduction steps
amplify pull --appId <id> --envName <name>
Continuous deploys set up with <name> backend
The result is the attached error log. I didn't make any modifications to the backend folder after pulling.
-- I've also tried removing the backend files by running
amplify api remove
theamplify pull --appId <id> --envName <name>
but my local code remains unchanged after running both commands.Build Settings
The only change I've made was to add:
I've seen examples with a
backend
portion inside the YML file, but since the build is being triggered, I'm leaving the file unchanged.Additional information
Not directly related to the error log, but I've found out that sometimes there are side effects when deploying changes from the Amplify Studio. For example, every time I save a change to a model, I have to go to the auth section and fix the Web Client Id for Google Login, since four leading spaces are added to the credentials:
I wonder if something similar might be happening with the Data section.
