👋 Hi @bhartsb, custom UI frames in Figma are not supported by Amplify Studio. There is a section here about it if you wanted to read more: https://ui.docs.amplify.aws/react/getting-started/figma#figma-file. We essentially need to use the Amplify UI Figma file if you want to generate UI components
I was able to sync a custom component. Are you saying I will have issues with it? It’s not very flexible that it only supports the primitives in that amplify UI figma file. What if for example I need a scrollable table view? After I design my figma file and find out that it won’t support custom ones it’s a little late!

First of all the link for feedback at this link brought me here.
The tutorial on the page for React and Figma leaves much to be desired. It only shows how to bring in components from the AWS Amplify UI Kit. Nothing about how to design custom UI frames in Figma and bring them in and use as UI components. Maybe I'm confused and if so it is because the documentation is severely lacking. I'd rate it as 1 out of 10.
