Is your feature request related to a problem? Currently, there is no way to trigger SageMaker AutoML through the SageMaker Controller.
Describe the solution you'd like I would like to request a feature that allows the SageMaker Controller to trigger SageMaker AutoML through AutMLJob definition. This would enable users to automate the machine learning workflow from their exiting EKS pipeline (i.e. kubeflow), without custom implementations.
Describe alternatives you've considered I have considered using the SageMaker Python SDK to trigger the CreateAutoMLJobV2 API. However, this requires additional setup and configuration, and it is not as streamlined as having the SageMaker Controller handle everything.
Adding support for triggering SageMaker AutoML through the SageMaker Controller would simplify the integration with sagemaker with Kubernetes and help users save time and reduce errors in their workflows.
