I'm looking for a feature where AFT includes a built-in retry mechanism during the process of importing existing accounts into AWS Control Tower. Ideally, this feature would automatically attempt the enrollment process a few times for on boarding existing account, especially considering that Control Tower enrollments can take a bit of time and might not always succeed on the first try.
Is your feature request related to a problem you are currently experiencing? If so, please describe.
Yeah, the issue I'm facing is that enrolling existing AWS accounts into Control Tower can often take longer than expected. When I try to manage these accounts using AFT, there's no built-in way to automatically retry the enrollment if it fails initially. This means I have to keep an eye on the process and manually retry, which is a bit of a hassle and not very efficient.
Additional context
Nothing much to add, just think this would be a cool improvement for AFT users.
