Need to splunk AMI to support C5 instances

We would like to use the new C5 instances for running our splunk which needs Enhanced Network Capability in OS - https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/enhanced-networking.html

Can you please build the splunk AMI from the base image which supports this

Any updates on this issue? Would like to see C5 instances supported as well.

+1 for need to support C5. We standardize on instance types and there is a big push to get all C4s to migrate to C5.

I can't give a definite timeline, but c5 support should be coming relatively soon.

Will this be for 7.1 forward or will previous versions support C5?

C5 instances are supported.
