Issue #115

Description of changes:

Distribute the node data object

We now pass the node data object further down the pipe so it reaches the overlays handlers.
The overlay handlers now have access to the node data, providing the ability to determine if the node has a single pipeline.

I will need to clean this branch up to get rid of the merge conflicts. If I can't fix them, I will need to create a separate branch and apply this branch on top of the latest master.
