This happened to me after a launched an new instance from my own AMI.

To get the installer to work, I had to delete the contents of the hidden folder C:\ProgramData\Amazon\SSM

Same issue, 0x80070643, Server 2019, t3.small, can't reinstall, can't install latest following this documentation : https://docs.aws.amazon.com/systems-manager/latest/userguide/sysman-install-win.html

At a bit of a loss now how to try to get SSM agent working again enough that I can use it for fleet manager. Original version was 3.1.1732.0. LAtest would appear to be 3.2.532.0.

I was able to deploy todays release, after deleting the hidden folder C:\ProgramData\Amazon\SSM as suggested above
