Any update on this?

peterwoodworth commented 2 years ago

We are still lacking CloudFormation support for this. I recommend opening an issue in the CloudFormation coverage roadmap if you're interested - I currently don't see any issues about Grafana in there.

youngjeong46 commented 2 years ago

I have requested a CloudFormation support for Managed Grafana here. Please go +1 it for high visibility.

https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2022/12/amazon-managed-grafana-support-aws-cloudformation/ CF Now supports AMG. Any updates on this.

mengdic commented 1 year ago

Hi, AMG supports CDK L1 construct. See more info here: https://github.com/aws/aws-cdk/tree/main/packages/@aws-cdk/aws-grafana

peterwoodworth commented 1 year ago

Now that CloudFormation has support for Grafana, we are now able to start the process of designing and developing some L2 constructs for this service! To kick off the design process, we will need a willing contributor who can go through our RFC process - start by submitting an issue in this repository if you think you can contribute 🙂

youngjeong46 commented 1 year ago

@peterwoodworth just to confirm, we need to create a separate issue for the RFC process (outside of this one)? I'll take a look at the process in greater detail and take a stab at it.

peterwoodworth commented 1 year ago

@youngjeong46 Yes, exactly! Thanks a bunch for offering to take a look through it 🙂

@peterwoodworth Submitted one - let me know if I'm missing anything https://github.com/aws/aws-cdk-rfcs/issues/471
