(cloud-assembly): (updating cloud assembly schema) How does one update the cloud assembly schema now? #31417

Describe the issue

The cloud assembly schema switch to an externally published package in this PR #31064.

Unfortunately, even though my PR #30625 was merged before this change, I still had my PR reverted in #31065.

What is the process now to get changes in to the cloud assembly schema? I have a PR open https://github.com/cdklabs/cloud-assembly-schema/pull/30 but it has been sitting with no action taken for weeks now.

I cannot find documentation explaining the contribution process clearly.
