Tell us about your request Please enable AWS Proton in sa-east-1 region

Tell us about the problem you're trying to solve. What are you trying to do, and why is it hard? We work mainly for Latam customers and currently all of our production workloads are on sa-est-1 due to latency and other concerns. We would like to be able to use Proton to manage our services but can't since it is not available at this time. Maybe #28 could be a way of achieving this if deploying Proton to this region is not possible.

Are you currently working around this issue? We are using CDK Pipeline projects one for the environment and one for each service with a separate CodeCommit repo for each service but any updates to the infrastructure have to be manually merged into each repo.

Thank you for sending this @miguelgimenez! We are working on expanding to other regions soon. I will add this to the roadmap and update it as we do it!
