[Design]: AWS Proton for EKS namespace vending #69

We are evaluating publishing an EKS blueprint model that would support using Proton so that developers can self-serve consistent/preapproved namespace configurations to a cluster. Open questions that will inform design and prioritization include:

  1. Does your organization want developers to self-serve namespaces? What restrictions or concerns prevent you from moving to this model to achieve greater deployment velocity?
  2. Are you permitted to grant RBAC controls so that a developer account could access a namespace?
  3. If you're achieving this model today, what is working well and what has been challenging?
