Amazon Q Chat Pane Freezes when IDE is left open for long periods of time #4437

I generally leave my PyCharm IDE running all the time and have noticed that when leaving the chat pane open during long periods it will freeze. This happens more when I suspend my laptop or close the lid. Usually when It comes back the chat pane is frozen. The only way to fix it is to restart pycharm.

Toolkit: Amazon Q For JetBrains 3.1-241 OS: Mac OS X 14.4.1 IDE: PyCharm Professional Edition 241

I think I've narrowed this down a little further. I use the "new ui" experience with all the jerbrains ide's. Out of curiosity I switched back to classic and now the Amazon Q chat doesn't seem to freeze. It could be some conflict with the new ui experience.

I haven't tried since with the classic UI, but I'm still getting freezing with the latest IDE and Plugin.
