There has not been a release in 5 months (0.7.1) but weekly merges? #772

I'm trying to understand how the code is working to start both an extension and the lambda app within the extension process, but I noticed that the code I'm looking at has diverged from the published binaries and I'm curious as to whether this lack of publishing is accidental or intentional as part of a big push to a new version.
