@IanMeyers Can we please get this merged? There is a high-severity vulnerability with this version of protobufjs.

@IanMeyers thank you for the quick merge response... I hate to ask for one more favor. We use this repo through npm and I believe the repo needs a version bump as well to take on the package updates. Thank again!
