No documentation for upgrading versions with External pipeline deployment #440

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. There is no guidance on how to upgrade to later versions when using https://docs.aws.amazon.com/solutions/latest/landing-zone-accelerator-on-aws/external-pipeline-deployment.html. We have landing zone accelerator deployed on a workload account that depends on cloudformation parameters such as AcceleratorQualifier.

We want to upgrade from v1.5.2 to v1.6.2 but the upgrade path for external pipeline deployment is not documented anywhere.

Describe the feature you'd like Can you provide guidance on whether it is safe to upgrade by downloading the latest source and following https://docs.aws.amazon.com/solutions/latest/landing-zone-accelerator-on-aws/external-pipeline-deployment.html. I'm assuming we can skip the IAM role creation part as it already exists in the management account

Is anyone able to look at this? It's preventing us from upgrading to the latest version (v1.6.2)
