Add the Open-Meteo weather database with high resolution weather models from national weather services like NOAA NCEP, DWD, ECMWF, Environment Canada, MeteoFrance, JMA, BOM, CMA and Met Norway. With the provided Docker images, users can quickly setup their own weather API and process data locally.
An Open-Data repository contains all meta information for each weather model and the S3 bucket can be listed quickly. Tutorials are provided to download historical weather data from ERA5 and configure a weather API with high resolution models including NOAA HRRR, DWD ICON-D2 and MeteoFrance AROME-PI to provide reliable weather forecasts for North America and Europe.
