Do you mean DNS Clients that resolve DNS, or Dynamic DNS Clients that update DNS records as the router's IP address changes?
This will work from hosts on the network behind your router or from the command line of an OpenWRT / TomatoUSB hacked router. The clients on home routers are service specific, so there is no standard AFAIK.
If anyone is looking for something that can replace dyndns2: https://gist.github.com/spannella/114786bbbb941b2742ad6eef45c1ee78
Is this compatible with the standard DNS clients you would find in things like routers and DVRs?
