Instagram counter #17

Instagram does not show followers. I think it is due to the API change.

it doesnt use any API, it just read the webpage an dextract the follower :) But for some reasons it doesn work for any account

hi, when I first setup my Awtrix the instagram counter was working fine, but after few days it don't display my follower anymore. i have tried to uninstall and reinstall but it still not working.... any fix planned? thx

Please try this one, by unzipping it and place the Instagram.jar in the apps folder in your AWTRIX installation. After that you need to restart the Host Instagram.zip

Thanks but how can I access folder? Vie the web page? My host is in docker on my synology...

Sorry, i dont know how you can access your docker container. I dont own a synology. Maybe you need to google it

I manage to upload the jar file. My host is now showing 1.2 for instagram, but my matrix still not show the number of followers…

Hi Blueforcer, It still don't display the followers with the lastest APP1.2. My profilename is maomaoj. Could you help with me? Thank you.

I finally figure it out: Instagram blocks the IP after some requests. After that you will be forwarded to the loginpage. delete Instagram for 2 or 3 days, then download it again and set the custom Update interval to 4 or more hours. There is no other way, since instagram changes their policity

Hi, I also have Synology delivering the server side. Could you share with us how you managed to upload the jar file to the appstore (as I miss several of these in my appstore; for instance the Instagram and the Stock Ticker)?

The Instagram App isnt working anymore. Thats why its not available in the Appstore
