AXA Radio Button has weird background behind text when using combination of "checked" and "button" attribute

When using the radio buttons as buttons, when the checked attribute is true it doesn't apply the same style as manually selecting them does

Steps to Reproduce

Storybook. Select for example the plane button, then toggle between checked and not checked, you should see the issue on the "car" button
