5 years ago I think I was going to change to check against the trade/waiver deadline. Then trades/waivers can be open year round
That was a request I had last year for tennis/golf haven't made the change though Chairman Brown 8:11 PM ahh, right. can it be up until the final though? yes, we want players (tennis mainly) to be able to be dropped during a tournament axel 8:11 PM I might move the active_at date after championship date rather than take into account both dates Chairman Brown 8:11 PM but not after the final lock potential for error there too though, no? if you only check the championship date, and there's a mid-tournament trade or claim that should be effective for future events, won't the site assign points for the current championship? axel 8:13 PM if they drop them and the player earns minus points, they're stuck with the points, but if they drop and score they don't get the points? This could get complicated Chairman Brown 8:14 PM that's correct. but what if i claim a FA during Wimbledon for the US Open, and that player scores at Wimbledon i should not get points. axel 8:16 PM For claims or trades made between deadline & championships, I would automatically move the active_at date for the roster position to after the championship date. But need to figure out exception for minus points. Chairman Brown 8:17 PM we could do a 4-day lock period for tennis and 2-day lock for golf as that's when negative points will be determined. after that, we can release and use the championship date
