iPhone 7 problems #131

I keep getting a "Exploit failed. Device did not enter pwned DFU Mode." error when running ipwndfu -p

I've tried everything I can think of: running sudo ./ipwndfu -p, sudo python ipwndfu -p, and those two not sudo as well. I've installed libusb and have run it from a linux machine and a mac with no change other than the phone occasionally booting up after I run the command, and then it errors out saying it didn't find a device in DFU mode at all. I have no idea what is happening, because I've gotten it to work once, but only once. I pwned the DFU, was happy it worked, then turned the phone back on. Later when I went to actually do something with it, (set the nonce using Tihmstar's new updates to liboffsetfinder64 and iboot64patcher) it wouldn't pwn again. Any help would be appreciated!

the exploit is not yet reliable it may fail. for me even with iPhone 7 it takes a few tries till its pwned. Try also different usb port and lightning cable

Thank you so much! I had been trying over and over: different ports, different everything, but I never once thought to change the cable! It worked on the fourth try, after I reversed the cable a couple of times on the phone's end. Solved!
