[Request] Client for KaiOS? #624

Are there any plans to develope a client for KaiOS? It seems like Moxie and the Signal crew won't do so. A lot of people wish for digital detox and switching from a smartphone to "dumbphones" but losing Signal is no option for me. Unfortunately, I can hardly use my Terminal and cannot support the development of a signal/axolotl-client.

The problem is, we are not allowed to run background services on kaios

is there a non-background running version available though? i'd be highly interested

you can try to compile go for wasm and start it via javascript :) https://golangbot.com/webassembly-using-go/ It's still going to be complicated, because the current structure is like this:

whereby the go backend is still axolotl and the rust backend is called crayfish.

I think kaios 3 will be more compatible for it
