[bug]: ctrl+r in CQLSH old console outputs "bck:" text

Bug Description

When using old CQLSH console and enter ctrl+r weird text gets displayed

Steps to Reproduce

Start up local cluster on 4.1 on MacOS, connect, switch to old CQLSH terminal and type ctrl+r

Expected Behavior

not do this

Actual Behavior

cqlsh console gets into weird state
