How to escape the problem due to Qt platform? #22

Hi @ay-lab The following message always in my standand error file. Do I have to reinstall the application? If it is, could you provide me some guidance by any chance? Thank you in advance.

qt.qpa.xcb: could not connect to display login01:34.0
qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "" even though it was found.
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Hi There,

I believe this is a python-specific error (I faced it before with matplotlib & I updated my matplotlib via conda — see these pages for reference: Stack Overflow & conda issue). Please let me know how it goes!

I just want to add on this thread that a major update is coming to dcHiC in the next month or two. It will have substantial improvements over the current version and recommend that you look out for it!
