Some applications/tools I develop are in dev (not in this repository), others in .local/src, and again others directly in .local/bin. There is no real reason for the separation. But the dotfiles repo isn't the place for putting shell scripts and tools either.

Since commit b38db41, all the little scripts and programs have been moved out into http://github.com/ayekat/utils (except for the XDG wrappers).
