FullScreen mode and O3D canvas samples overlap in Safari on Leopard. #145

Platform:
  Mac OS X Version 10.5.8 (Build 9L31a)
  Processor: 2 Intel 2.33 GHz
  RAM: 2048 MB

O3D:
  O3D version: 0.1.42.0  Release

Installed Browsers:
  Safari: 4.0.3 (5531.9)
  Firefox: 3.5.2 (3.5.2)
  Camino: 1.6.9 (1609.08.15)

Chipset : ATY RadeonX1600 / Nvidia GeForce xxx

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install O3D.
2. Open http://o3d.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/samples/fullscreen.html in a
new Safari window
3. Open http://o3d.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/samples/canvas-fonts.html in a
new tab in the same window.
4. Change the view of first sample to Full Screen Mode and get back to the
normal view.
5. Now toggle the tabs.

Expected:
We should see O3D canvas sample when we get to canvas-fonts.html.

Acutal:
We see the FullScreen mode sample super imposed on O3D canvas sample.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

Another Scenario : o3d sample canvas overlaps with new tab page.
1. Open sample 
http://o3d.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/samples/canvas-texturedraw.html.
2. Change the Brush URL to some other, Start Drawing.
3. Open new tab .
Result : O3d sample trails also on the new tab page.

Platform:
  Hostname: testing-102.local
  Mac OS X Version 10.5.8 (Build 9L30)
  Processor: 2 Intel 2.40 GHz
  RAM: 2048 MB

O3D:
  O3D version: 0.1.42.0.453   <<<Release>>>

Installed Browsers:
  Safari: 4.0.3 (5531.9)
  Firefox: 3.5.3 (3.5.3)
  Camino: 1.6.9 (1609.08.15)
