Profile image upload needs polish #112

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Log in
2. Profile->personal details
3. edit -> upload a picture

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the aspect ratio of my picture to be maintained. However, in the
result, I see an image that has been squished.
