Virtual keyboard for numbers, symbols, etc. #441

The virtual keyboard is awesome, but it needs a mode for numbers, symbols,
etc. when the values being entered are not text.  Ex.: when entering
financial or date information it would be great (user-friendly and kewl) to
have a virtual keyboard that could switch to a different mode.  But where
the currency symbol, decimal separator, thousands separator, and other
numeric separator or common symbols would be localized.
