More users have requested this "And what about the exact same extension but modified to work on phone browsers? Such as Firefox, Orion, Tor etc… Would this be possible? I managed to install your extension there but insta wont load."
Hello, would it be possible to develop a similar tool that can be used for instagram's iphone app? Also, is there a better way for me to ask questions about this project and your experience other than through github - maybe discord or smtg? Thank you for your help.

Hi @JulBax , I think modifying anything on an Iphone app is way more difficult than doing it in a browser's app, so I think that's not possible, but If someone knows how to do it, I'd be open to explore it.
About ways of communication, Github and email it's what I have for now! But it's interesting to know another space could be useful. However, I don't have much time to mantain or moderate any community.
heyo @aymyo, you can probably check out Plasmo, which is a framework for building cross-platform browser extensions. They call is the "NextJS for browser extensions", so that's something.
i've used it for my own extension and it feels like react, so works like a charm. also has pretty good module separation for things like content and background scripts.
(sending this because i'd really like to have this for firefox. in the meantime i'll try to locally clone and create a port for myself :P)
@abhigyantrips hey! I'll definetly check that out! Thanks a lot for the tip! :)
I was actually planning to do a big update soon, so this could be included in that!
Some user has emailed me about having this in Firefox. Investigate if there is an easy way to port it
