Hey, The repository also contains a few wallpapers made by other artists. Wouldn't getting a license cause problems because of that?
Indeed.... The best way of action now is to check the license of each third-party art.
Bumping this as I think it's quite important now it has reached /r/unixporn, sorry if this bothers anyone.
An option would be to set a license for aynp's created wallpapers and create a table with individual licenses from external ones (for example in another .md file linked from the README). That way it could be still be shared and it would be easier to know what can be done with them as an 'end-user'.
As speltriao mentioned, CC-BY-SA is a great option for this repo, but obviously feel free to choose the one you think fits best.
I licensed the repo under CC BY-SA 4.0 and listed the files not included in the license in LICENSE.md (#13).
This amazing repository is lacking a proper license. It would be nice if it had the Creative Commons License, such as: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/legalcode
