To design the logo I need to know why you choose name - McFly ,

other details I got from project description.

The tagline of the project is "Back to the Basics. Into the Future." -- and this reminds me of the film Back to the Future where McFly is the last name of the main character Marty McFly.

It would be awesome if we can take inspiration from this. I am thinking the project branding will be Sci-Fi & Retro-Futuristic.

The full branding would encompass everything from a distinctive logo to typography, color palette, iconography, documentation style, badges, social media graphics, and even thematic release announcements. This way, we can create a cohesive and impactful identity for McFly.

@autumn-absconds i think most important now is to have a logo first :) then we can create another issue to discuss other design needs from there

I've created some logo variations for the McFly project, inspired by the Sci-Fi & Retro-Futuristic theme. Could you please take a moment to check them out in the Drive ? Let me know if they align with your vision so I can finalize them.

Feel free to share any feedback, suggestions, or if you have specific elements you'd like to see adjusted. If these designs aren't quite what you had in mind, I'm open to your ideas, and I can work on recreating other designs. I'm here to ensure the logo captures the essence of McFly.

Hi @autumn-absconds!

Really appreciate the work you did here!

However, I feel like "rockets" are no longer science fiction because they have been real for a long time now. What we would generally attribute to fiction are things we don't have yet and inspire innovation. Like flying cars, self-fixing shoes, Time Machine, etc. 😄

Also we would like a logo to be super simple (two to three shapes) but catchy. See other frameworks or libraries for inspiration like https://astro.build or vitejs

I'll revise the designs with a focus on super simplicity and explore inspiration from other frameworks. Excited to refine the concept!
