Have you anyone in the pipeline to join Logan on the development team who may be interested in working on payments ?
Ideally they would also have Android programming experience as we should integrate SUMUP support firstly into the YodoFare app, and then also into Yodo Rocket ( for POS credit card acceptance) but the similarities are almost identical and perhaps even into online issuance of YoTs which Logan is currently tackling.
In other words if we start SUMUP development now, Logan could use SUMUP's online API for credit card acceptance to pay for YoTs being issued in the merchant iFrame , web widget etc. Perhaps we could even start Logan on becoming familiar with the SUMUP API as this would lead directly into accepting SUMUP for "tap" transit fares on our "Smart Fare Box".
In any case, it seems like an excellent, easily separated out task with a clean api and SDK which any one could jump into without a great deal of previous knowledge started by a newbie, assuming you had a student interested. I have the SUMUP Terminals (car readers) to let someone get started as soon as you can identify an interested party.
