There's no need for a log here - but an explanation is required. When there is
audio feedback is it giving the speed at that moment or the average speed for
the time split? The reason for setting lap or distance intervals is to get a
split time or pace - not to know the instantaneous spot speed etc. I think
mytracks is giving the wrong information on the split times but there is no way
to know because there is no documentation anywhere to say.

Based on my usage of this app for the past year, the announced speed is the
average speed for your entire activity time thus far. So if you run 1 mile at
10:00min/mile and the second mile at 9:00min/mile, at the end of the second
mile it will announce a pace of 9:30min/mile.
I agree that the speed/pace for the just-completed split is what should be
announced, as this is the information most people are interested in.

I've given up on this app. Too inaccurate over distance and not practical. The
audio splits are not the only one problem. There is no GPS filtering and so
distances are way off. It's a shame. Also the lack of hands free control means
that you can't also or start without taking the phone out of your pocket -
which on a bike can be impractical. One day this might be a good app - but then
the current technology will already be obsolete. It's frustrating.
