Hangs on startup due to corrupted track #633

Using MyTracks-1.1.11.rc1 on a Droid X running Android 2.3.3.

I was recording a track when the battery ran down and the phone shut off. Now,
when I try to open MyTracks, it shows a black screen with a dark blue bar
across the top, saying "My Tracks" on the left, and hangs forever. If I try to
open the menu, after a few seconds the system reports that the app isn't
responding, and lets me force close it.

It appears that it is trying to parse the data from the track that was being
recorded when the phone shut down, and some corrupted data is triggering a bug
which gets it stuck in a loop. I have no way to recover from this, and no way
ever to use the program again, until someone finds and fixes the bug. I can't
delete the track, since I can't get into the menu, and have no other way to get
at the file--and besides, I actually need the track to geotag a bunch of
photos, so I don't want to lose it.

In my opinion, it's a bad idea to display the last recorded track when the app
starts, first because it's something I almost never want to do, and second
because it creates an opportunity to get into this situation. It would be
better if it didn't display any track unless explicitly told to do so.

I'm attaching a log of the program starting and then force closing. I've
trimmed everything before the first occurrence of MyTracks and everything after
the last occurrence. Good luck.
