Can't share to Facebook

After recording a track, I am not given the option to share to Facebook even 
though I have the Facebook app installed.

MyTracks version 1.1.13 running on Android 4.0.2 (Verizon Galaxy Nexus).

Any way I can get a response to this?  It's a bit of a thorn...  Any more 
information I need to provide?  A log of some kind?  More phone info?

I am trying to find the same answer.  It would also be nice to attach a picture 
to the track when it gets uploaded to Facebook.  For example, I go on a lovely 
hike and at the summit I see a double rainbow.  It would be great to attach 
this picture to the shared track.

The facebook Android app only allows sharing a url from another android app. It 
won't allow sharing extra text.

Right, and I get that there is a political divide that occurs at this point ... 
but this is why so many Android/iOS apps build a Facebook app backend to 
communicate with where the user gives permission via the mobile Facebook app 
instead of the native app. Drawsome, social news apps, etc etc. Very doable. 

(edit: I mistakenly mentioned an app that doesn't use a FB backend app, removed)
