Noncontinuous track parts on Galaxy Nexus #742

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install MyTracks latest Version 1.1.13 on the Galaxy Nexus with ICS 4.0.1
2. Start recording a Track

Expected:
Connected Track (split into some parts) like on other phones.
Instead:
Lots of noncontinuous track parts.

I noticed that when recording a track i get flaky results on my Galaxy Nexus.
The Accuracy of the GPS points is pretty fine, but from time to time it just
stops recording, then re-adjusts by itself.
Settings are unchanged (standard) on both devices.

The difference between the Galaxy Nexus and HTC Desire can be seen quite well
when comparing the tracks. Both phones recorded the track at the same time and
were positioned at the same spot inside the car.

Galaxy nexus, several missing spots, a lot of unconnected parts:

HTC Desire, almost one single stream of points:

The split happens when uploading a track to Google Maps. Due to Google Maps
limitation, each upload can only contain at most 500 points.
Looks like on Galaxy nexus, the GPS is recording more frequently, thus
producing more points and require more splits when uploading to Google Maps.
