bimserver does not give a WSDL anymore #330

I have added this comment to issue 285 but I dont think anyone noticed since
the status of issue 285 was already set to "fixed"

I would like to try it (red: the fix of issue 285) and downloaded a recent
nightly-build. Unfortunately it does not serve the WSDL anymore:
http://localhost:8082/soap?wsdl gives http status 404. I have tried this with
several recent nightly-builds. Then I tried with the nightly of 2011-08-01 and
that did correctly serve the WSDL, but of course it did not contain the new
SOAP authentication feature.

So I am afraid the new functionality (of issue 285) broke the WSDL output.

thanks,

Hi Jurjen,

The issue 313 was fixed on November 2nd.
Could be that the port number has changed along.
Try to download the wsdl using the link on the info page under the 'webservices
tab'

Greetings,
Léon

I just tested all builds, and SOAP/WSDL is working for me, which build do you
use (combined, not combined, jar, war?)

I tried before october, so I must have missed the fix for 313.

Right now I tried the latest nightlybuild:
bimserver-combined-nightlybuild-2011-11-15.jar.
http://localhost:8082/soap?wsdl worked! It did return a wsdl. So this issue may
eb closed.

but... I cannot login into the new server? It begins by showing page
"/setup.jsp" which requires me to specify a new admin username, but it cannot
be saved because it gives message "Authentication required for this call". And
trying to log in as admin/admin says the password is wrong. It seems I am stuck.

Hi Jurjen,

We cannot reproduce your issue here.
Try to make sure you removed any previous database folder (home folder).

Greetings,
Léon
