I don't know if this is an issue or if the daughter board/pot is not yet supported.
I have a pine64-lts with the dac pot containing an es9023 chip. I am running the stretch-minimal-sopine-bspkernel-0.7.20-122.img.xz. I checked the messages log and I don't see any references to this board so it looks like there is no device recognition.
