3 years ago Our data is currently coming from the EDS web service: https://eds.arizona.edu/
We integrate fetched data from this service into user profiles upon account login. This is how we build and keep current our listings of faculty/staff and all grad students with teaching roles. This is critical for a large department such as Spanish that employs a veritable army of grad instructors.
Currently use EDS to grab user data such as name, campus title, phone, etc for our people directories.
Also grab user data with LDAP like primary college, degree plans, and campus to restrict access to forms (for custom application forms) and change how people are routed (LPPE).
