Clicking then dragging a 'todo' forces crash

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Switch to a venue
2. Visit the 'Tips' tab 
3. Tap a todo, hold 
4. Drag finger up, down (left and right are okay)
5. Boom.

(not an issue when using the scroll ball)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected nothing (or todo related popover, likely coming soon)

Instead, crashed

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Latest (8/30)
Cupcake 1.5
G1 Dev Unit
