"Invalid input" on Chrome app when creating client id #420

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a new hangout, and use "Google+ Hangouts API" for a service.
2. Under "API Access", select "Create an OAuth2.0 client id..."
3. for product name put any (unique) name and press "Next"
4. select "installed application" and "chrome applicatin"
5. enter anything in "application id" field and you get the message
       "Your input was invalid."

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I don't know what is wrong with my input. It doesn't seem to matter what I put
for application id. I don't see anything in the documentation for what to put
in that field, nor any open issues about it. It should give me a client id.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using Chrome version 30.0.1599.114 on xubuntu 13.10.

Please provide any additional information below.

Sorry, this tracker is only for the PHP client library itself!
