The key seems to be "for one battle" that you are asking assistance with, does not persist beyond that.
wowhead references "Expedition Scout" NPC. spellDBC's DBC spells: 32030 Summon Expedition Scout. lvl 64 in acore DB and possible related 32029 Summon Expedition Preserver. lvl 70 in acore DB?

Higher reputation summons a different NPC perhaps?
Is there a source of how this guardian is supposed to arrive? Any voice lines or animations that should play?
