And if dispelled, the boss has to cast again the spell after few seconds.
Proof from retail?

I know it's not really easy to notice, but I think there's some point where it is quite clear. Okay so, 2:37 Mutated Infection goes on some DK, Bunnys. He keeps the Mutated Infection for a long time, it gets NOT dispelled, and the next Mutated happens at 2:54 on a Rogue, Conchur (about after 16-17 seconds). At some point it gets dispelled, and Mutated happens at 3:02 on another target, only after 8 seconds. It gets dispelled again and after 7 seconds it happens another Mutated on a different target. Dispels probably reduce the gap between a Mutated and the next.
Wowwiki states: Some raids cleanse the infectee, 5 seconds after they become infected, but this may decrease the time to the next infection. (http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Rotface) This is what actually happens in the Video, without dispel it happens after 16-17 seconds, with dispels 7-8 seconds.
Can anyone confirm this behaviour? Maybe a sniff from Retail or more footage to validate this? Do other cores have this behaviour covered?
Hotfix (2010-03-04): "In both normal and heroic versions of the 10 player Combat Rotface encounter, the mutated infection ability will not be cast as quickly while the fight progresses."(http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Rotface)
Only should be aplying to 25man normal and heroic.
Description: More time passes during the fight the faster the Boss has to apply the debuff. The same thing if the debuff is dispelled: in fact, if it is dispelled, the boss must reapply after a few seconds the debuff on another player.
Current behaviour: During the fight the time interval between one Mutated Infection and another is the same.
Expected behaviour: the more time passes, faster the Mutated Infection must be applied. And if dispelled, the boss has to cast again the spell after few seconds. At the moment you instantly dispel the debuff and you have lots of free seconds until the "Mutated Infection" will affect another player. And even if you go ahead with the fight, the debuff isn't applied faster. Steps to reproduce the problem:
