Problem of connecting Casio Privia px-130 to mac 10.7 #19

I was trying to connect Casio Privia px-130 to my mac, but when I followed the
instruction and plugin the usb data line, there's no any response in my laptop.

Is there anyone else have the same issue and get it fixed?

What do you mean by "no response" ? Is it showing up in Audio/MIDI Setup or not
making any sounds in Garage Band ? You can also look into the Console for
MIDI-related messages when you plug it up.

Thank you. I just figured out that the Garage Band is working now. But the
Casio Data Manager 6.0 doesn't work at all.

Actually, I just looked into it and the Data Manager already comes (supposedly)
with a USB driver forMac OS X. So maybe my own driver conflicts with it. I'll
have to test it.

Ok, I figured it out - The Casio Data Manager doesn't include a MIDI driver.
It's just a simple utility to manage songs recorded on the keyboard. It seems
that recent Casio keyboards automatically show up as USB MIDI devices, there's
nothing special to be done. The PX-130 is one of those.

For the Data Manager utility to work, I think the keyboard has to be in
"Storage" mode or something, check your manual. I don't actually have a PX-130
here, so I can't really be of more help.
