Considering that most of our users are Windows, and Windows 10 does not come with native support for tar.gz, should we be returning as .zip, or should we add compression format as a parameter for the collections route? If the latter, then let's move this issue to the API repo.

This should be the next "big" thing that we tackle after the preliminary form is up.
