[BUG]: not loading the web-ui #210

What happened?

after installing cosmos, setting it up with duckdns and going to the domain I put, I get: "Hmmm… can't reach this page [URL.duckdns.org] refused to connect. Try:

Checking the connection [Checking the proxy and the firewall] ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

What should have happened?

the web-ui should load but doesn't

How to reproduce the bug?

  1. install the os onto ubuntu server latest
  2. install cosmos using guide and not using any of the things they told me not to use
  3. setup like normal and than restart
  4. go to the URL that I set
  5. than it will not connect

Make sure that your domain AND the subdomain points to your IP, triple check port forwarding, ect.. other debugging steps include trying to access Cosmos via your external IP outside of your home network (it should tell you "wrong hostname" but it is still Cosoms), checking the logs to find some start errors and so on
